I knew immediately that I wanted to keep everything simple and try to capture these three legends in all of their glory. I chose to use white and blue as the prominent colors of this piece, as it is a natural choice being the Maple Leafs colors, and I wanted to use a light background to enhance the blue of their sweaters to add contrast and make sure the color of their skin popped.
