Home Game is tribute to the sport of basketball and those who enjoy it--whether playing with a group of friends on a local court or watching professionals in an arena. The bouncing basketballs represent the momentum of the sport and its evolution over the years. The giant vintage scoreboard was created from a variety of elements, including a rusty boat and a vintage metal fan. The scoreboard is suspended from Scotiabank Arena with a slab of concrete below--a reference to the urban nature of the sport and for the basketball fans who love being able to play the game on the street or in their own driveways as kids.

There are references to the Raptors throughout the piece (the little toy raptors, the use of Raptors team colours) and the score on the board is the final score of the Raptor's championship win. The chair and television pay homage to the fans who passionately cheer on their team and celebrate their victories from the comfiest vantage point of all: home.
