I am honored to have worked with NHL teams and players for over twenty years.  It was a joy and privilege working with Doug for not only charity fundraising but his commissioning several pieces for his private collection.  While photographing a practice in Toronto one afternoon Doug and I worked together to create some fun poses.  From those shots I was able to create this oil on canvas work.  I feel it represents not just the hockey player, but the spirit of Doug and his light hearted nature.  He will always be a legend in Toronto and with the Maple Leaf fans, but to me, he is friend and has been a wonderful inspiration for my work.
